Regina José Galindo: SOS

The new performance SOS by Regina José Galindo is being presented by Prometeogallery in Milan, committed to giving a voice to women. She uses her body to collectively portray the violence and abuse of woman not only in her homeland of Guatemala but for women worldwide who’s cries are left unheard.

Alongside the performance, her work ‘El Objectivo’ created for Documenta14 will be displayed for the first time in Europe.

Regina José Galindo was born in 1974 in Guatemala City where she  is currently still working. Her work investigates social injustice, discrimination in all its forms and the imbalances of power in society today.
