Renato Ranaldi: La lotteria cieca del Trìscopo

Fondazione Mudima hosts the solo show of Renato Ranaldi, a tightrope walker, hero, clown, musician, hermit, philosopher, writer. He is an artist working with the contradiction and tension of being in different places simultaneously, more outside than inside, on the borders (of the canvas) than in the centre.

The biblical concept that pervades the artist’s work reveals itself in installations and assemblages emphasizing the uncertainty of equilibrium, the suspension of elements and the opened shapes invading the space.

This dissatisfaction for something to be concluded is reflected the nomadic choice through various materials and media such as visual arts, music, writing and cinematography.

Ranaldi follows imperfection because it opens a lot of expressive possibilities.
