Saul Steinberg Milano New York
Triennale di Milano, Viale Emilio Alemagna, 6, 20121 Milan, Italy
Triennale Milano is hosting a monographic exhibition of Saul Steinberg, one of the most important art figures of the 20th century, which tells the story of the designer’s close relationship with the city of Milan, where he was educated and where he forged lasting relationships with Italian artists and intellectuals. In addition to Steinberg‘s works, including the unique drawings that consolidated Saul’s worldwide fame and his mural installation created for Milan using the “sgraffito” technique, the exhibition will also include a series of documents and photographs that will also reveal the artist’s more human aspects.
