Steadystate

Steadystates speculates on a universe without a defined beginning or end—where matter emerges, accumulates, dissipates, and reconfigures. Informed by the Steady-State model, once a competing cosmological framework before being superseded by the Big Bang theory, it proposed a universe in equilibrium, continuously forming without rupture or origin. Despite its scientific imperfections, the model persists conceptually, offering a framework to reconsider material processes, authorship, labour, and the mechanics of artistic production.
