Stefano Perrone, Przemek Pyszczek: In Conversation

Ribot gallery presents a dialogue between two different artists: Stefano Perrone (Monza 1985) and Przemek Pyszczek (Bialystok 1985).

According to the plurality of modes that encapsulates the term dialogue (in ancient Greek διάλογος, “to converse, talk with”), it indicates the comparison between interlocutors, and is understood as a tool for expressing feelings, view points, and for the discussion of ideas that are not necessarily opposed.

Dialogical interaction, here conceived as a tool for the expositive strategy between two sides, is to be understood as a moment of receptiveness, as freedom for reciprocal change, as respect and acceptance of the other.

Conversation can certainly be considered the prototypical form of face-to-face dialogue and, in particular, with dialogue you do share two central traits of interactivity and intentionality. Moreover, in each linguistic production, the various forms of conversation are strongly influenced by the context. In this case, the conversation focuses around individuals and their context: in fact, identity and the human macrocosm are the protagonists of the whole work of Stefano Perrone while throughout his production, the Polish artist Przemek Pyszczek, interrogates the superimposition of Pop culture and politic.
