Sterling Ruby / H.R. Giger

Spazio Maiocchi presents the duo exhibition curated by KALEIDOSCOPE featuring works of Sterling Ruby and one of Sterling Ruby’s creative heroes, legendary Swiss artist and concept designer H.R. Giger.

Gathering some very important works of Ruby includingHRG Suite (2006), STRIP STRIP (RB) (2016–19), STATE (2019) and a selection of works including prints, paintings, sculptures and furnitures display the staggering variety of media employed by Giger across his practice, the exhibition results into a non-linear retrospective on Giger as well as an uncommon, visceral perspective from Ruby to the oeuvre of the Swiss artist Giger.
