Tamara Ferioli: Vita

Officine dell’Immagine is pleased to announce Vita, a solo exhibition by Tamara Ferioli curated by Fabio Carnaghi. The exhibition presents the artist’s new body of work and her recent experimentation with new approaches to design.

Ferioli explores natura sapiens as if it were unknown territory, propagating the cyclical time of existence into a cosmic and magmatic flow. Mimicry, conservation, proliferation, survival and regeneration are the themes with which the designs outline ethereal bonds and avoid hierarchy. Animal and vegetable transform into alchemical compositions,  unveiling a telluric dynamism, fertile in an arcane and life-sustaining breath.

Ferioli, inspired by the scientific design of nature, appears to describe an itinerary of migration from an atlas to responding to an impelling dreamlike call. The white embraces basaltic columns, vegetal germinations, flowers, fish and crustaceans in the constant reminiscence of the Icelandic, Atlantic and volcanic iconography.
