The Futures of Italian Jewellery
The Futures of Italian Jewelery, part of XX1T, this year’s Milan Triennale, presents a selection of over 50 Italian jewels, the work of masters and young talents of skilled artisans and goldsmiths maison, expression high manufacturing capability as the best industrial production, in a mixture.
The selected jewels are emblematic of the future scenarios of the Italian jewel, defined by: Mirabile Factory, Beauty Daily, Avant Craft, Valuable Technologies and Creativity Collective. The protagonist is the necklace, the most representative jewel of Italian goldsmith.
The exhibition aims to highlight both the manufacturing vocation as technological innovation in contemporary Italian jewelry production and the flexibility to offer different disciplines. It emerges a plurality of languages, testing and research, from high jewelry to wearable and new interactive technologies.
