“The Multicultural Metropolis” will be part of XX1T, this year’s Milan Triennale.

The birth of multi-ethnic societies, characterized by the coexistence , more or less conflictual of different ethnic and cultural minorities, is among the most significant features of the twenty-first century. This cohabitation is often interpreted as a happy circle , characterized by a mutual tolerance that would allow each of these to retain their memories and their ancient customs.

In fact, this archipelago of ethnic groups is routinely crossed by invasive flows of international product categories, spread by the globalization of markets , the effect of which consists of a gradual approval, in which the memories, the tradition, disappear.
