Thierry De Cordier: Nada

“Nada” by Belgian artist Thierry De Cordier is an exhibition project designed for the three spaces of the Cisterna, one of the buildings at the Milan venue. The exhibition brings together ten large-scale paintings from the “Nada” series. The first works in this series stemmed from the desire to erase the image of the “Crucified Christ” in a demonstrative way. The abstract works that result are no longer a form of negative painting, but the ultimate attempt to experiment with the “greatness of nothingness”.
