Tobias Rehberger: Tous pour les femmes

The Frankfurt-based artist’s fourth exhibition with Giò Marconi deals with the concept of transformation and the boundaries between aesthetic and functional.
The exhibition is a sort of paper retrospective: the artist showcases 30 works on paper such as drawings, prints and watercolours both sketches for bigger projects and indipendent artworks.

Some of the works address themes of politics, racism, sexual stereotypes. As usual, the artist plays with titles and language. Besides the numbers of paper works on show, Rehberger also displays two neon signs: “Tous pour les femmes” and “What else”. Tobias Rehberger (b. 1966 in Esslingen, Germany) is professor since 2001.
