Valerio Adami: Laboratorio

Fondazione Marconi and Gió Marconi announce the exhibition Valerio Adami. Laboratorio, a tribute to the artist in collaboration with the Archivio Valerio Adami, marking 60 years since his first appearance at Studio Marconi in Milan and 90 years since his birth.

Adami, a leading figure of Post-War Italian art and Narrative Figuration, is known for vibrant paintings reflecting modern society. The show explores his works from 1962 to the early ’70s, influenced by travels and encounters with intellectuals and artists. Highlights include his time in London, Arona, Paris, and New York, and themes such as cars and urban interiors. The exhibition also features paintings, photographs, and the film Vacanze nel deserto, showcasing his innovative artistic journey and connection with Milan, where he debuted in 1965.
