Who Knows What the Ostrich Sees in the Sand

The group exhibition at Fanta, in Milan, gathers works and art practices in different media which deal with the functioning of contemporary society. “Who knows what the ostrich sees in the sand” explores the concepts at the core of the current economic and social system based on the consumption of good and services, such as effectiveness and efficiency, but also waste and discard. The five artists featured reflect on these topics, appropriating some of the processes and rules of the system and defying their normativity.
