Zehra Doğan: Il tempo delle farfalle

The project by the Kurdish artist, journalist and activist Zehra Dogan started in November 2020 with the documentation of a performance by her made on the occasion of the celebration day against violence on women. Besides that, “Il tempo delle farfalle. Dedicato a Patria, Minerva, Teresa Mirabal” also features the works created by the artist during the time that she spent in jail, because of the articles that she wrote as a journalist: her research, in fact, casts a spotlight on the art produced in prison. Curated by Elettra Stamboulis, the exhibition is on view at PAC Project Room, in Milan.
