Fritz Ascher: Expressionist is the first solo retrospective to showcase this artist’s work in America. The artist, is one of the “Lost Generation”—artists whose careers were interrupted or destroyed by the Nazi terror regime and whose works have remained under recognised to date. Fritz Ascher: Expressionist is a testimonial to human endurance and to the extraordinary power of the faith in art and creative expression.
