Katie Paterson: There is Another Sky

This exhibition marks Paterson’s first major New York solo show in nearly a decade. Known for her multidisciplinary approach, Paterson’s work explores nature, geology, and deep time. Collaborating with scientists globally, she creates poetic works that blend advanced technology and minimalist aesthetics to challenge perceptions of time and reality. The exhibition includes paintings, sculptures, and works on paper made from unique materials like ancient ice core water, fossilized pigments, and stardust. Featuring an incense project, To Burn, Forest, Fire, the show also invites intimate engagements with nature’s essence.
