Refiguring Binaries

Refiguring Binaries, curated by Kelani Nichole, hones down on a new contemporary art movement which has begun to emerge, a movement in reaction to Silicon Valley and its inherent ideologies such as the globalisation of culture, and technologies of power: artificial intelligence, photorealistic computer-generated images, and virtual and augmented reality.  The exhibition explores these notions by looking at identity, the body, and the politics of technology

Featuring works by Morehshin Allahyari, LaTurbo Avedon, Meriem Bennani, Snow Yunxue Fu, Claudia Hart, Faith Holland, Lorna Mills, Eva Papamargariti, Tabita Rezaire, and Lu Yang.
