Water Stories: The global water crisis in pictures

Since 2011, American photographer Mustafah Abdulaziz has travelled the world for his long-term photographic project on water.

This summer, he focused on New York’s waterways and water challenges. The resulting work will be on display in an open‐air solo exhibition, called “Water Stories”, alongside images from Brazil, China, India, Pakistan and Nigeria as part of Photoville in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The first exhibition in the international tour was shown in Stockholm in August 2015 to coincide with the 25th anniversary of World Water Week and Stockholm’s Kulturfestival. The exhibition then went to London to mark UN World Water Day in March 2016. The project is a collaboration with Earthwatch, WaterAid and WWF, and is supported by the HSBC Water Programme. The exhibition will run until Oct. 12th, 2016.
