Alma Allen

Perrotin presents the first solo exhibition by artist Alma Allen. Born in Utah in 1970, Allen is a self-taught sculptor who lives and works in Tepoztlán, Mexico. She works in wood, stone and bronze, often using materials sourced from her immediate surroundings.

Her biomorphic sculptures explore organic forms and tactile surfaces, combining elements that suggest both natural and abstract structures. For her first presentation with the gallery, Allen presents a new series of mural works and sculptures.
