Berlinde de Bruyckere: Need

Galleria Continua presents in Paris the first solo exhibition dedicated to Berlinde De Bruyckere, a leading figure on the international art scene, renowned for her exploration of fragility, vulnerability, and the metamorphoses of the body. For more than thirty years, the artist has developed a multifaceted practice encompassing sculpture, installation, drawing, and collage. Through her distinctive use of wax, alongside materials such as wood, textiles, and other natural elements, De Bruyckere imbues her work with a unique intensity, where poetry, delicacy, and a search for transcendence emerge from the heart of human vulnerability.
