Camille Henrot: Days are Dogs

Palais de Tokyo, 13 Av. du Président Wilson, 75116

For the carte blanche project, Palays de Tokyo gives its entire exhibition space to Camille Henrot.
Henrot brings together an extensive group of her own works along with contributions from international artists with whom she maintains a productive dialogue: Jacob Bromberg, David Horvitz, Maria Loboda, Nancy Lupo, Samara Scott and Avery Singer.
The exhibition revolves around the invention of the seven day week structure and our relationship with time: “Days are Dogs” refers to the expression for the hot days of summer called “dog days” and is dived into seven parts. Henrot presents mosaics, frescoes, and bronzes along with new works such as Saturday, her most important film since Grosse Fatigue (2013, Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale).
