Folkert de Jong: Ancestral World

“Ancestral World” is an exhibition by Folkert de Jong in close collaboration with artist Delphine Courtillot and tribal art specialist Finette Lemaire.

The exhibition deals with the relationship between man and his origin. Connecting to long-forgotten stories and rituals that were once meant to connect us with where we came from and give us guidance in the present and the future.

The exhibition will include divers sculptures by Folkert de Jong in various media, ceramic sculptures by Delphine Courtilot, and utensils/art objects from Borneo, Papouasie among others from the collection of Finette Lemaire.
