Juliette Minchin and Marion Baruch: Flambeaux

Anne-Sarah Bénichou, 45 Rue Chapon, 75003

“Flambeaux” brings together Marion Baruch’s historical works with Juliette Minchin’s new creations, conceived especially for the occasion.
The dialogue between the two artists interweaves distinct languages and materials: Baruch’s minimal forms in synthetic fibre encounter Minchin’s explorations with wax, metal, wicks and structures that evoke transformation and combustion.

Minchin’s installations and sculptures, such as Flambeau or Ops, investigate the fragility and strength of matter through fire, light and metamorphosis, while Baruch’s works, like Eva Hesse 7, resonate with these elements through an essential and conceptual approach, rich with references to art history and the memory of the body.

Together, their practices create a sensitive space where organic and industrial materials converge, inviting reflections on time, resilience and the vital energy that animates form.
