Myriam Mihindou: Praesentia

The exhibition “Praesentia” (a polysemous title evoking presence, power, and protection) offers a comprehensive exploration of Myriam Mihindou’s work from the past twenty years, including new productions. It highlights the artist’s engagement with the spiritual, therapeutic, social, and political roles of art, expressed through gestures, forms, and materials.
By revisiting dominant narratives from the perspective of their margins, the exhibition sheds light on bodies, voices, practices, and imaginations that have long been overlooked or marginalized. Co-conceived and co-produced with the Crac Occitanie in Sète, the exhibition ensures the works are visible for an extended period and accessible to a wide range of audiences.
