Prince Gyasi at Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme
Coinciding with Paris’ major autumn art events, an exclusive solo exhibition presents the work of Ghanaian artist Prince Gyasi. Known for his vivid compositions shaped by synaesthesia – the ability to associate colours with words – he addresses universal themes of hope, resilience, education, and shared humanity. His practice redefines narratives around Africa, emphasising its creative strength and poetic vitality, and countering stereotypical representations.
The exhibition features some of his most emblematic images alongside new works unveiled for the first time in Paris. In addition to the visual presentation, Gyasi has collaborated on a bespoke olfactory signature, adding an immersive sensory dimension to the project. Blending colour, atmosphere, and humanistic vision, the show expands his exploration of how art can reshape perception and foster empathy.
