Prix Marcel Duchamp 2025
Created in 2000 by the ADIAF, the “Prix Marcel Duchamp” has become one of the leading international awards for contemporary art, offering €90,000 and recognising artists who have since become key figures on the global stage. For the years 2025–2029, due to renovation work at the Centre Pompidou, the exhibition is presented at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris.
The 2025 nominees are Bianca Bondi (b. 1986, Johannesburg; represented by Mor Charpentier), Eva Nielsen (b. 1983, Les Lilas; represented by Galerie Peter Kilchmann and The Pill), Lionel Sabatté (b. 1975, Toulouse; represented by Ceysson & Bénétière), and Xie Lei (b. 1983, China; represented by Semiose). Their works will be on view in the museum’s collection galleries with free admission from 26 September 2025 to 22 February 2026.
Beyond the exhibition itself, the award provides comprehensive support to artists, including over fifty associated exhibitions in France and abroad, international residencies with Sèvres – Manufacture et Musées nationaux and Villa Albertine, and broad visibility across the art world. The winner of the 2025 edition will be announced on 23 October 2025 during Paris Art Week by an international jury of museum directors, collectors, and artists.
