Raymond Hains: A Work Under Construction

Originally presented at Fondation Cartier in 1994, this installation brings together photographs taken by Raymond Hains during the Grand Louvre renovation (1981–1991), depicting scaffolding, barriers, pipes and stone blocks. Reinstalled on Place du Palais-Royal, the works reflect his interest in public space and the aesthetic potential of everyday objects.
