Refelection

The exhibition explores reflection as both image and thought. Through works by modern masters including Renoir, Marquet, Valtat, Friesz and Picasso, the exhibition examines water, mirrors, doubles and correspondences as central motifs of modern art. From Impressionist explorations of light to Cubist constructions of perception, the show reveals how artists transform the reflected image into a space of experimentation, ambiguity and visual poetry.
