Reiffers Initiatives Mentorship

Reiffers Initiatives, the foundation of Mazarine Group dedicated to supporting contemporary creation, celebrates the opening of the 2026 Reiffers Initiatives Mentorship exhibition, bringing together Thomas Houseago and Théo Mercier for the first time.

Born in Britain and based in Los Angeles, Thomas Houseago is one of the foremost sculptors of his generation. As mentor for this edition, he has chosen to support Théo Mercier, a sculptor and stage director whose bold and inventive practice has made him a distinctive voice on the contemporary French art scene.

Following several months of collaboration, the two artists take over the Foundation’s spaces, each creating their own studio. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to step into the artistic worlds of two leading figures in contemporary art.
