Sabrina Ratté
Through a series of installations using video projections, animations, prints, photogrammetries, sculptures and spatial devices, Sabrina Ratté invents carnal landscapes and dreamed architectures, situated somewhere between the physical and the virtual world
With this series of works imbued with poetry and science fiction, Sabrina Ratté provides relief to images, to give them a new aura in the age of technology, and to augment them to the point of making them “units of atmosphere” to be explored physically.
Sabrina Ratté’s exhibition takes the form of a journey in which the visitor becomes an actor in the space. This exhibition is presented as a large group of immersive architectures and landscapes inhabited by a visual material in movement, questioning the physical separation between two realities.
In collaboration with designer Antonin Sorel (scenography) and musician Roger Tellier-Craig (sound creation), Sabrina Ratté imagines a troubling archipelago, a series of islets and refuges outside of reality, like a parade of utopias that will eventually materialise.
