State (in) Concepts

Fondation Kadist has invited iLiana Fokianaki, founder and director of the non-profit Athens based institution State of Concept, to create a group inspired by her program dealing with solo exhibitions by international and Greek artists.
The main theme is the current socio-political landscape of Greece and the many European crises.

The show focusses on concepts of identify, citizenship and class, and invites the artists to question our perception of the real and depict the different forms of violence that emerge from these structures.
