Tomás Saraceno: ON AIR

The exhibition ON AIR investigates new ways to experience the relation of humans with the planet and to produce knowledge about it. The point of departure is an interdisciplinary artistic project by the artist Tomás Saraceno, who tries to reactivate a common imaginary to collaborate to respect the environment, actively engaging visitors with an urgent call to action.

Gathering numerous interventions and collaborations by scientific institutions, research groups, activists, local communities, visitors, musicians, philosophers, non-human animals and celestial phenomena, the artist insert himself in the debate posed by the Anthropocene, the current epoch in which human activities are leaving a significant impact on the planet.

Workshops, concerts, public symposiums complement the exhibition, contributing ti the debate on the subject.
