The exhibition marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the artist
The exhibition celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Zdeněk Sýkora (1920–2011), one of the greatest Czech artists ever, under the curatorship of Lenka Sýkorová. For the occasion, an immersive installation turns the gallery’s space into the artist’s legendary studio in Louny.
The exhibition features some rare fine-print books with original illustrations by Zdeněk Sýkora and documentary films about the artist’s life and work. To mark this important jubilee, Galerie Zdeněk Sklenář is also issuing the book “Zdeněk Sýkora – My Nature”.
