Liuba in Rio de Janeiro

In 1965, the Bulgarian artist Liuba Wolf (1923 – 2005) realized an important exhibition in the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro, as part of the commemorations of the 4th centennial of the city: in the exhibition, the artist presented 23 bronze sculptures representing animals. Now, fifteen years after, 14 of those art works are reunited in Marcelo Guarnieri Gallery, in Ipanema.
