Los Carpinteros: Vital Object

The exhibition Vital Object – previously shown at CCBB in Sao Paulo – shows more than 70 works of Los Carpinteros. By employing a creative use of architecture, sculpture and design, the artists explore the chock between the object and its function in a strong social criticism though a humorous tone. The public will go through all the different phases of Los Carpinteros production from the 1990’s until now, where works that have yet never been shown and that where specially made for this exhibition. The show is curated by Rodolpho de Athayde.
