Marcia De Moraes: Banquet

Luciana Caravello Arte Contemporânea presents “Banquet”, a solo exhibition featuring seven works by the artist Marcia De Moraes. The exhibition takes its title from the largest piece displayed: a four-part polyptych which is itself a veritable banquet with figurative references to artichokes, fruit, breasts, fingernails, bones. Moraes’s drawings involve a multitude of forms and, as they are large-scale, each contains many elements, but the forms are not literal.
