Thamy Albrecht: Pulsar

Thamy Albrecht has been developing a research about representations of the heart. The Pulsar [Throb] series, presented at Casa de Cultura Laura Alvim results from the deepening of this line of work.

Albrecht has worked with photograph, paper and sound to create the show with the assistance of 13 invited couples, who have had their hearts connected by threads.

The artist holds a bachelor degree in visual arts from Faculdade Paulista de Artes, and, since 2009, she’s part of the group “Nós do Morro”. She has participated in exhibitions in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, and also works as artistic educator.
