A Queda do Céu

Curated by Moacir dos Anjos, the exhibition presents side by side a series of artworks and historical documents that foretell, prove, alert and contest the progressive lost of territory suffered by indigenous communities that inhabit the south of the American continent.

This lost is, furthermore, a indicative sign of the destruction of the sustainable planet ideal or, as suggested by the Yanomami’s cosmogony, a sign of the “fall of the sky”.
