Albano Afonso carries on a research on the tradition of the history of art.
The main genres and themes of history of painting become the starting point for his works, particularly the constant opposition between light and shadow.
For his eight solo show at Casa Triângulo titled “Viver em um Mundo Abstrato“, the artist presents a new installation and sculptures that deepen his research on the dialectic of these two elements.
