Recently under new direction, MASP’s 2015 program will be focused in the museum’s collection. “Arte do Brasil até 1900” includes about 60 works of the Brazilian painting collection, produced from the 17th to the 19th century about Brazil, either by national or international artists (such as European travelling artists).
Some highlights are landscapes by Frans Post and portraits by Pedro Américo. The show is completed by documents from MASP’s historic and photographic archive.
