Carlito Carvalhosa

For his first solo show at Nara Roesler, Carvalhosa creates a huge site-specific installation consisting of old wooden light poles suspended through the exhibition space, mixed with pieces of glass scattered on the floor.

At some points, the trunks cross the walls, which help sustain them in the air; in others, the intersections between two or more of them keep them on top.
