Edgard de Souza

Edgard de Souza’s new works investigate the domestic space and the movements of the human body within this sphere; is just this amalgam between the seclusion of the private space and the impulse of the fruitful energy that stands out in his solo exhibition.
The domestic life has always been present in the work of de Souza, with vases, tables, chairs or cushions that carry anthropomorphic features or that predict the human body in relation to itself. The forms of Edgard de Souza are ambiguous and fragmented, with vestiges of corporeity, desire, sexuality and eroticism.
