Hitchcock: Bastidores do Suspense (Suspense Backstage)
The exhibition draw a panorama of the life and work of the director Alfred Hitchcock, considered the master of suspense, through an immersive itinerary, aimed to transport the visitor on a movie set.
The exhibition features original items from international institutions and private collections while the institutional library owns a large collection of Alfred Hitchcock’s photos and manuscripts, donated by the filmmaker’s only daughter and granddaughter.
Among the items selected by the curator, photos, manuscripts, storyboards, sketches of costumes, posters and film materials, such as press kits and lobby cards, newspaper and magazine articles, and several others elements, as well as audiovisual material, such as excerpts from the director’s early career.
