In Search of

The artists in this exhibition curated by Fernando Ticoulat read history in an unusual way. They distrust ready and commonplace ideas to uncover what is hidden behind our tradition and see not the lights, but the dark of our time. They create works of art that are not intended to fit the requirements of our time, and therefore are more capable of understanding it.

By penetrating the cracks of society, they provide alternative understandings of ourselves. Fictions are deconstructed and the hidden source of values and ideas that are believed immutable and sacred comes to surface, paving way for new thoughts and life perspectives.
