Ivan Grilo: Eu Quero Ver

For his first solo show at Casa Triângulo, Ivan Grilo (b. 1986, Brazil) presents new works that constitute further developments of two of this recent researches: the African cultural heritage in Brazilian society, specially knowledge that was orally transmitted through generations, which Grilo observed during his field research in Bahia in 2014, motivated by a project conducted by Mario de Andrade during the 1930s and 40s.

In second place, he continues his investigation on Lina Bo Bardi’s production, mainly focused in the period when the architect lived in the northeast of Brazil.
