Jessica Mein: Tramas

Jessica Mein (b. 1975, São Paulo) presents a new body of work in which she deepens her research on the physicality and spatiality of images and further subverts the boundaries and hierarchies between image and the support that sustains it.

Mein‘s work conducts an investigation of the systems of production and dissemination of images throughout the urban space by making laborious, slow and complex physical interventions on obsolete visual materials from Dubai, where she’s based, and São Paulo, her city of origin.
