Johanna Calle: Grafos

One of the artists participating in the 31th Biennale, the colombian artist Johanna Calle presents the exhibition “Grafos”, her second solo exhibition at the Galeria Marilia Razuk.
The artist shows four series of works – Submergentes, Balances, Minúsculas and Colagens – covering ideas, processes and materials used in recent years.

In her works, Johanna creates significant “abstractions” and the symbolic language that often denote vulnerability, fragility, insecurity, resistance and transgression.

According to the artist, the act of cancellation, delete, subtract, cut or twist, highlights the fact that some items are missing or something that has been destabilized.
