Julia Spínola: New Arte Povera

Spanish artist Julia Spínola (b. 1979) presents her first solo show in Brazil, conceived and developed in situ during the weeks prior to the opening, as part of the New Arte Povera project, which aims to create a discussion about the current resurgence in contemporary art of practices common to the Arte Povera movement.

The project presents sequentially three artists whose works involve the use of everyday objects and found materials, which are re-contextualized, acquiring new meanings.
