Kilian Glasner: Noite Clara, Dia Escuro

With coal, China ink and pastel, Kilian Glasner (b. 1977, Brazil) developed a particular language. The artist depicts landscapes between reality and fiction: while some of the portrayed locations are part of his quotidian scenery in Gravatá (Pernambuco), others find their origins exclusively in the artist’s imagination.

Between reality and fiction, the Glasner proposes distinct manners of seeing landscapes and a contemporary approach of the image. The show was curated by Paulo Kassab Jr.
