Opening the project “Nossas Artistas [Our Artists]” promoted by Instituto Tomie Ohtake, which propose a series of individual exhibitions dedicated to female artists who made and still make Brazilian art history, Leda Catunda‘s “I Love You Baby” features more than a hundred pieces, produced between 2003 and 2016, highlighting the self-spectacle that is fruitfully disseminated by new technologies. “I love you baby” shows how Leda Catunda directly deals with the current world, its charms, fantasies, illusions and lies.
